Privacy Policy

ArtiMax is operated by Redzetta Pty Ltd (ABN to be confirmed), Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our application and website.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: Name, email address, and password when you register.
- Organisation data: Business name, member details, and role assignments.
- Boat and operational data: Asset details, equipment records, maintenance logs, purchase orders, inventory, outing logs, contacts, and checklists you enter into the application.
- File attachments: Documents, images, and other files you upload.
- Email integration data: When you connect your Microsoft or Google email account, we access emails and attachments you direct us to process. We do not read emails beyond what you explicitly request.
- AI conversation data: Text and voice inputs you provide to the AI assistant.
- Payment information: Billing details are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers.
- Usage data: AI usage metrics (message counts and token usage) for billing purposes.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the ArtiMax service.
- To process your AI requests and return relevant results.
- To manage your subscription and process payments via Stripe.
- To send transactional emails (e.g., password resets, subscription confirmations).
- To provide customer support.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
ArtiMax integrates with the following third-party services:
- Microsoft Azure: Cloud hosting, database, and file storage (Australia East region).
- Stripe: Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Anthropic (Claude): AI language model for the assistant feature. Conversations are processed but not used to train AI models.
- ElevenLabs: Text-to-speech for voice output.
- Microsoft Graph / Gmail API: Email integration, only when you explicitly connect your account.
- Amazon Alexa: Voice assistant integration, only when you link your account.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Your data is stored on Microsoft Azure servers in the Australia East region.
- All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest (Azure encryption).
- Passwords are hashed — we cannot read your password.
- OAuth tokens for email integration are encrypted using ASP.NET Data Protection.
- We use JWT authentication with short-lived access tokens and secure refresh tokens.
5. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is preserved for 90 days in case you reactivate. After 90 days, we reserve the right to permanently delete your data. You may request immediate deletion by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your personal information.
- Withdraw consent for email integration at any time by disconnecting your email account.
7. Cookies
The ArtiMax web application uses essential cookies and local storage for authentication and user preferences only. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
8. Children's Privacy
ArtiMax is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of ArtiMax after changes constitutes acceptance.
